In one incident, a fire broke out at the Mother and Child Block of Delhi AIIMS. It was quickly controlled, and no one was hurt. A Delhi Fire Services (DFS) officer said they received the call about the fire at 5:15 pm.
In another incident, a transformer near the Trauma Centre at AIIMS, Delhi, caught fire on Thursday afternoon. Several fire tenders were sent to put out the flames. No injuries were reported.
A DFS official said, “We got a call about a fire at the AIIMS Trauma Centre at 3:34 pm. Eight fire tenders were sent, and the transformer fire was extinguished. No one was injured.”
