Delhi Boy Stabbed In Revenge Attack Outside School, Rushes To Police With Knife In Chest

Three minors were arrested for stabbing a 15-year-old boy outside a school in Paharganj, Delhi, in a revenge attack, with the victim managing to reach the police station despite having a knife lodged in his chest.

Three minors have been apprehended for allegedly stabbing a 15-year-old boy outside his school in Central Delhi’s Paharganj area, the police told PTI on Saturday. The incident took place on September 4, when the injured boy reached the Paharganj police station with a knife lodged in his chest, the police said in an official report.

Upon reaching the police station in such a critical state, he was soon taken to Kalawati Saran Hospital and later referred to RML Hospital, where doctors were able to successfully remove the knife from his chest.

Preliminary inquiry revealed that about 10 to 15 days ago, one of the accused minors was beaten by some boys and suspected the victim of having instigated the assault. To take revenge, the boy and his two associates confronted the victim near the school gate and stabbed him.

A case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act at Paharganj Police Station in the matter.

Thanks to intensive investigation raids by the government, all three accused, aged 15 and 16, were apprehended from the Aram Bagh area within hours of the case being registered, the police said.

The knife and a broken beer bottle were seized from the spot, the police told PTI.
