What Is CAT III?
Category III or CAT III ILS is a sophisticated navigation system designed to ensure safe flight landings during low visibility conditions. Dense fog is common during winters across North India.
Fog Reduces Visibility
A thin layer of fog blanketed parts of Delhi in the morning as the temperature dipped to 9°C with a possibility of dense fog, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The overall AQI in the national capital stood at 334 under the ‘very poor’ category at 6m today.
