Delhi: 32-Year-Old Woman Strangled To Death In Baljit Nagar; Accused Arrested

Police received information about the murder in the Baljit Nagar area, and the investigation revealed that the victim, Maneka Singh, a housewife, was strangled to death.

According to Delhi Police, a 32-year-old woman, Maneka Singh, was allegedly strangled to death in the Baljit Nagar area under the Patel Nagar police station on Saturday.

Police received information about the murder in the Baljit Nagar area, and the investigation revealed that the victim, Maneka Singh, a housewife, was strangled to death. Her husband worked as a salesman at a furniture store in Kirti Nagar.

Police have arrested the accused, Dharmendra Kumar (28), who works at a printing press. Initial investigations revealed that the murder was due to an illicit relationship that led to a quarrel between the two.

Another Incident

In a shocking incident, a man and his sister were found hanging inside their rented flat in the Seemapuri area of Delhi. The incident took place on Sunday and came to light after foul smell was detected by neighbours from the ground-floor flat.

The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Viresh Kumar Tomar, son of Devender Kumar, and his 30-year-old sister, Chinki Tomar. They were both residents of Fatehpur Chak, Ramala in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh.
