Delhi: A disturbing incident unfolded in Delhi’s Burari area on Thursday afternoon, where a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death in broad daylight. The incident, caught on CCTV, occurred around 2.32 pm in Pinky Colony. The minor, identified as a resident of Jantavihar, Mukundpur, was with another boy from the same locality when the tragedy unfolded. They were both returning to their home when the accused stopped them mid-way at Gandhi Chowk and stabbed the victim with a knife.
Delhi Police said that they received a PCR call informing them that a man had been stabbed in the chest in Pinky Colony. Meanwhile, the CCTV footage showed onlookers passing by without intervening while the deceased kept pleading. A case of attempt to murder (which has now been changed to murder) has been registered at the Burari police station. The police have launched an investigation to find out whether the perpetrator of this crime were minors or adults.
in yet another case, which took place in Karnataka’s Mangaluru on Thursday, May 22, 2025, a 50-year-old man was stabbed to death. According to reports, the man identified as Suleman, a marriage broker, was killed in a late-night attack in Valachi, while his two sons were injured. Police said that the deceased, who was a resident of Vamanjoor, had organized the wedding of the 30-year-old accused, Mustafa.
Mustafa was married to Shaheenaz about 8 months ago, however, things turned sour between the two. Two months ago, she returned to her parents’ residence. Reports stated that the accused threatened the victim on the phone on Wednesday night. Suleman went to the accused’s house along with his sons Riyab and Siyab to resolve the matter.
