An old man was allegedly hit by a Delhi Police vehicle near Fortis Hospital while he was attempting to cross a busy road amidst fast-moving traffic. The details of the tragic incident were shared on Instagram by a user named ‘safecars-India’. The video caught on camera shows an elderly slowly making his way to the other side of the road when a police van traveling at high speed in the left lane suddenly hit him.
As per the details shared, a Scorpio in front of the user’s vehicle at the scene slammed on its brakes, narrowly avoiding hitting the old man. He wrote, “Meanwhile, in the left lane beside me, a police van was traveling at high speed. Despite braking hard, the driver couldn’t control the van in time, and it ended up hitting the elderly man.”
