The structural audit of the buildings will be done by a panel of experts from institutes like IIT Roorkee, the National Institute of Aviation, CSIR, IIT Delhi, and Central University. The board has decided that the completion certificate will be issued to any building only after the structural audit report is received. This step is seen as an important measure to ensure the strength and quality of the building.

Alongside structural checks, the process of revising bylaws for the buildings that fall in the color coding zone in the areas adjacent to the upcoming Noida Airport is underway. An advisory body will soon be appointed. The height, floor area ratio of the buildings in the YEIDA area zone will be regulated. Currently, buildings in the said area are allowed up to a maximum height of 24 m.

Yamuna Authority CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh said that the quality and safety in the building construction cannot be compromised. By making structural audit mandatory, the strength of buildings can be checked technically. Any possibility of an accident in the future can be prevented.
