Noida Film City: Film City is to be built on the vacant land on the banks of Yamuna, just 15 minutes away from Noida International Airport. Now preparations have been intensified for this. According to sources, PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the project, which is Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s dream project.
Program To Be Decided After PM’s Consent
According to sources, the foundation stone is getting delayed due to the date not being fixed with the PMO. Film City developer Boney Kapoor’s company Bayview Bhutanese Film City Private Limited had requested CM Yogi for the foundation stone on April 6. The CM requested the PM to lay the foundation stone, but due to the pre-scheduled program, the PM could not approve it. Now the program for the foundation stone will be decided only after getting consent from the PM. In view of the possible program of the Prime Minister, YEIDA is also engaged in preparations.
YEIDA Starts Building Two Ramps
The direct connectivity of the film city is also being done from Yamuna Expressway. Four ramps will be built at 24 kilometer point of the expressway. Yamuna Authority has also started the work of building two ramps in the first phase. Along with tourists, the movement of artists, employees coming to the film city as well as goods to the film city will also become easier. The construction of the ramp is expected to cost more than Rs 3.24 crore.
1500 Crore To Be Spent
The film city to be developed in Sector 21 of Yamuna Authority will be made of international level. About Rs 1500 crore will be spent on the construction of the film city. Boney Kapoor also held a meeting with YEIDA CEO Dr. Arun vir Singh regarding the preparations for the foundation stone laying and construction of the film city. YEIDA has already approved the layout plan of the film city, the map for the development of the internal structure is yet to be approved. The construction of the film city will start only after its approval.
Lakhs Of People To Get Employment
YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh says that preparations are underway for the foundation stone laying and connectivity of the film city. The maps will be approved soon. He says that the construction of the film city will provide direct and indirect employment to lakhs of people through artists as well as other works.
YEIDA To Benefit
CEO Arun Vir Singh says that the developer has been given a 90-year license for the film city. The authority will get 18 percent revenue share from the earnings from the film city. Which will be used in the development of the area.
