Pahariya opened fire on the police team in an attempt to flee, prompting the officers to return fire. After being shot, Pahariya was arrested and taken to a hospital for treatment. His condition is said to be stable. Pahariya was wanted for several crimes, including arms smuggling. The Delhi Police have launched an additional investigation into the matter.

Delhi Police: Notorious Criminal Arrested

Kaku Pahariya, a notorious criminal, was arrested in an injured state during an encounter in South Delhi’s Mehrauli area on Saturday. Pahariya, who was wanted for a number of serious crimes, attempted to flee while firing at a police team. Two police officers narrowly escaped with bullets striking their bulletproof jackets, while a constable suffered a minor hand injury.

Delhi Encounter: 4 Criminals Shot Dead in Nangloi

On the other hand, there have also been reports of an encounter in Delhi’s Nangloi neighborhood. Three criminals were hurt in a shootout between Delhi Police and criminals in the Nangloi area. According to DCP Outer Sachin Sharma, a police team was shot at by the same group two days prior. The police struck back. However, the accused was able to get away at that moment. But today, Saturday, when the police team confronted them, they opened fire once more, forcing the police to respond as well. During this encounter, three of the four criminals were hurt and subsequently arrested. Every injured accused person has been brought to the hospital for medical treatment.

Criminals Were Active In Bihar, Delhi

Four members of the Sigma gang, which is active in Bihar, were killed by a combined Delhi and Bihar police team last Thursday during an encounter in the Rohini area. The culprits were identified as Aman Thakur (21) of Delhi, Bimalesh Mahato alias Bimalesh Sahni (25) of Sitamarhi in the Bihar district, Ranjan Pathak (25), and Manish Pathak (33). All four wanted to spread terror in the run-up to the Bihar elections, according to preliminary investigation. A reward of Rs 1,00,000 was offered for the accused’s arrest. During the encounter, a few police officers were also hurt; they are currently receiving treatment.

According to reports, the accused arrived in a white Maruti Suzuki Baleno car. During the search operation, they opened fire on the police team. All four were injured in police retaliation and were taken to Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, where doctors declared them dead. A Baleno car, three sophisticated semi-automatic pistols, and a country-made pistol were recovered from their possession.
