New Delhi: Pink line of the Delhi metro is going to be extended by 8 new stations which will then know as the Ring metro line. The Majlis Park-Maujpur corridor is now under construction as an extension of the Pink Line, which begins in Shivpur. When the 12.55-kilometre length is finished, it will be the country’s longest metro line (71.15 km) and the country’s first ring metro.

After a delay from the original September 2023 deadline, the entire corridor is scheduled to be completed by June 2024. There will be 11 interchange stations throughout the whole Ring Road network. The corridor will link East and West Delhi, as well as North and South Delhi. According to reports, the corridor will be served by a triple-decker metro. A flyover will be built beneath the metro line.

Burari Station, Jharoda Station, Jagatpur Village Station, Soorghat Station, Sonia Vihar Station, Khajuri Khas Station, Bhajanpura Station, Yamuna Vihar Station, and Maujpur-Babarpur Station are among those to be added.
