New Delhi: A fire breaks out in the Jahangirpuri’s K block area of Delhi’s slums on Saturday. No casualties were reported.

At 10.22 a.m., the fire department got a call, and nine fire tenders were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the incident. So yet, no casualties have been recorded in the incident, which is being doused.

Rajeev Kumar Sinha a fireman said, “We received information about a fire in the slums of Jahangirpuri area. 11-12 fire engines reached the spot. We found that the fire had started in an open area where garbage was lying. The fire is being extinguished, but the cooling process will take time.”
