A shocking incident has come to light from Mukundpur in Delhi where a 28-year-old woman has been arrested for killing her boyfriend. The police said on Wednesday that the woman used to share flat with her partner in Mukundpur. The incident occurred on Monday. Reportedly, the woman had hit her boyfriend on head with a grinding stone. After that she had beaten him with a hammer and finally stabbed him with a knife. All these actions resulted in death of her boyfriend.

The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old, Md Tawarak. Notably, the woman surrendered herself at the Bhalswa Dairy Police Station where she confessed killing her partner. However, she alleged that she was forced to take such step as Tawarak used to assault her frequently, as reported by Hindustan Times.

Police informed that they are investigating the case and claims of accused. According to the officials, the accused and her boyfriend had been living together since 2022. They both had children from their previous marriages. Tawark had one children while the accused had four.

The police were informed by the neighbours that they had disturbed relationship and used to fight over small things. The accused disclosed that Tawarak used to get drunk and beat her and the children.

What Did Police Say?

HT quoted Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Nidhin Valsan who said that the deceased would hit the children of the woman and it enraged her. Tawarak returned to the house drunk and again fought with the woman on Monday afternoon. However, the woman allegedly picked up a grinding stone and hit him in the head this time.

After committing the crime, the accused walked to the police station around 1:30 pm and confessed the killing. Following her confession, the police rushed to spot and found his body in a pool of blood on the floor.

DCP further mentioned that they recovered grinding stone, hammer and a knife from the site. The crime spot was investigated by the crime branch officers along with forensic science laboratory team. The police added that a case under sections of murder has been registered and the woman has been arrested.
