According to the sources, the Excise Department of Delhi rejected Perno Rica’s application for renewal of its sales licence last week, which was applied for in September 2022. Before this, the company went to court, but they directed the call to the excise department. This is considered a setback for Pernod Ricard, as India is a big market for the world’s second-largest liquor company.
