New Delhi: A massive fire broke out at the Army base Hospital in the Delhi cantonment area on Tuesday morning. Delhi Fire Service reached the spot and informed that a fire broke out in the ICU store room ground floor.

As soon as the incident was reported, more than 12 fire trucks were dispatched to the scene. The incident was brought under control when a firefighting operation was launched.

A police official said, “A massive fire broke out at Base Hospital in Delhi Cantonment area.”

The cause of the fire is yet unknown. “Medical equipment was damaged in the fire,” officials stated, adding that no injuries had been reported thus far. Further details awaited.
