New Delhi: The Saket court will hear today a petition seeking the right to worship and restore Hindu deities at the Quwwatul Islam Mosque. The mosque is located inside the Qutub Minar complex.

The court has given the last opportunity to Kunwar Mahendra Dhwaja Prasad. He has sought to be made a party by claiming ownership rights on the land in this case.

Earlier, the Civil Court had dismissed the petition as it believed, at the time, that the appeal was futile. That order has now been challenged in the ADJ Court.
