Bengaluru: Amidst aggressive campaign against ruling BJP, the Karnataka Congress has put up ‘PayCM’ posters with Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s photograph with a QR Code on them in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
Upon scanning the QR code, it will direct the user to the ‘40 percent Sarkara’ website which was launched by Congress recently for citizens to file complaints against government corruption.

40 percent tender money taken as bribe
Through the poster, Congress alleges that 40 percent of the tender money for government-funded infrastructure projects in Karnataka is taken as bribes by BJP leaders and officials.
Earlier, a similar poster ‘Welcome 40% CM’ was seen in Hyderabad last week, when Bommai was to participate in BJP’s Hyderabad ‘Liberation Day’ programmes.
During that time Bommai had called it a “planned conspiracy” and criticized the Telangana government for allowing “such baseless allegations against a chief minister”.
Bommai’s allegations were followed by a tweet by the social media convener of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi. He had said: why did the Karnataka CM react strongly to the hoarding, which did not even mention his name? Does he agree that the BJP government in Karnataka is a 40% commission government?
