Shahdol: In a shameful incident, a teacher from a government primary school in Podi village in Jaisinghnagar block of Madhya Pradesh’s Shahdol district took off the clothes of a 10-year-old tribal girl after she came wearing a dirty dress and made her sit without clothes for nearly 2 hours.

The teacher himself started washing the dress, in the school premises, saying that the girl came wearing dirty clothes. During all this, the tribal girl, belonging to class 5th, was sitting among the other students naked.

When the clothes dried up, the girl was dressed and sent back to the class.

Moreover, after this, the teacher shared the photo of him washing the dirty clothes of the girl in the departmental group, describing himself as a cleanliness friend (swachhata mitra).

With the photo now going viral on social media, the angry villagers are demanding action and investigation against the shameful act of the teacher.

The incident is reported from Bartola government primary School of Podi village under Jaisinghnagar tehsil of Shahdol district in Madhya Pradesh.

Minor girls asked to clean toilet in MP’s Guna

On Thursday, in MP’s Guna district, school going girls reportedly belonging to 5th & 6th standards were seen swapping toilet floors.

In the images, it was seen that girls were cleaning the toilet with a broom in their hand. They also brought water in the bucket from the hand pump outside to clean the toilet.

The images showed that the girls in uniform, who were supposed to study in classrooms, were ordered to clean the toilets.

The incident was of government primary and secondary school in Chak Devpur village in Guna district.
