A Chennai-bound flight from Jaipur experienced tyre burst mid-air just before its scheduled landing on Sunday morning. The airport officials confirmed that the authorities swiftly facilitated the emergency landing at Chennai airport after the incident. All the passengers and crew are safe. The tyre-bust was detected by the pilot, who then informed the concerned authorities quickly before the landing. The airport officials stated that wheel no 2 was found damaged with tyre pieces coming out from the tyre-left interior upon visual inspection. The aircraft landed safely and major incident was averted by the timely response and action from the authorities.
