Chennai Power Cut: Residents in Chennai are advised to prepare for a planned power outage on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, due to maintenance work in some areas of the city. The power cut will impact key areas in the city of Temples from 9 am to 2 pm, according to TNPDCL.
However, if the maintenance work is completed before time, the electricity supply is expected to be restored before 2 pm. The power disruption will likely affect businesses, commercial buildings, and schools operating in the area for about 5 hours.

Similarly, Chennai residents are also set to experience a water cut in five of its zones and a few parts of Pallavaram Municipality from 9 pm tomorrow to 9 pm on Friday. Affected areas are Alandur, Adyar, Teynampet, Kodambakkam & Valasaravakkam in Chennai and Pozhichalur & Cowl Bazaar in Pallavaram Municipality.
