According to the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO), there will be power cuts from 9 AM to 2 PM in the following areas

Areas Impacted

TNHB Colony, Mampakkam Main Road, Mageshwari Nagar, Priyadharshini Nagar, Ottiyampakkam Main Road, and the entire areas of Valluvar Nagar, Jaya Nagar, and Vivekanandha Nagar. The electricity department says power cuts in some areas are due to maintenance work like trimming trees, fixing switches, adjusting power lines, and replacing equipment.

In Madambakkam, areas like Shanthi Nikethan Colony, Tamiah Reddy Colony, Parvathi Nagar (North), Kamatchi Nagar, Balaji Nagar, Karbagam Nagar, APN Nagar, MGR Nagar, Saratha Garden, Srinivasa Nagar, Ramana Nagar, Maruthi Nagar, and Anna Nagar will have no power from 9 AM to 2 PM.

Other places like Thirumudivakkam town, Guru Nagar, Palanthandalam, Erumaiyur, Kishkintha Main Road, Rajiv Nagar, and many surrounding streets will also face power cuts on Wednesday.

In the meantime, areas such as Sathiyamoorthy Street, Tirupur Kumaran Street, Kasthuribai Street, Amudham Nagar, Sadagopan Nagar, Thangaraj Nagar, Meenakshi Avenue, Kannan Avenue, Vasantham Avenue, Vishnu Nagar, and EB Colony are already experiencing five-hour power cuts today.
