Chandigarh: To make the people of Punjab healthy, the AAP government will set up yoga classes at various places. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann inaugurated ‘CM Di Yogashala’ on Wednesday.
On this occasion, CM Arvind Kejriwal said that we had started yoga classes in Delhi, which was stopped by the LG, then our government was formed in Punjab and we started doing yoga here. After doing pilot projects in Phagwara, Patiala, Amritsar and Ludhiana, we will start yoga classes in every village across Punjab. We want that no one gets sick.
CM Kejriwal said that the AAP government has done commendable work in the field of law and order in Punjab and now the action is being taken against those who commit sacrilege. Appealing to the youth to dream big, he said that we want to give books, pens and employment in the hands of the youth. At the same time, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said that the LG has stopped the Yogashala running in Delhi, but who will stop it in Punjab? We are starting ‘CM The Yogashala’ to improve the health of Punjabis.
Gradually, we will get three crore people of Punjab to do yoga for free – Arvind Kejriwal
At the inauguration of ‘CM The Yogashala’ organized at the Indoor Gymnastics Hall in Patiala, Punjab, CM Arvind Kejriwal said that new experiments are being done in the governance of Delhi including education, health, electricity, water and infrastructure. Many of these experiments are such that they are getting very good success.
Learning from Delhi, they are spreading this experiment to different places across the country. One of these experiments was to make people do yoga. On the lines of Delhi, ‘CM The Yogashala’ is being started in Punjab. If 25 people want to gather and do yoga anywhere, then call the phone number issued by the Punjab government and give your details and the Punjab government will provide you with a free yoga teacher.
According to the convenience of the people, everyday teachers will come and teach yoga for free. Currently, in the first phase, yoga classes are being started in four cities of Punjab, Phagwara, Patiala, Amritsar and Ludhiana. Yoga classes will become stable in these four cities, and then gradually three crore people of Punjab will be made to do yoga for free in every pind, every street and locality.

CM Arvind Kejriwal said that in Delhi too we had started yoga classes in the same way and gradually more than 17 thousand people started doing yoga daily and people were very happy. By doing yoga, the body remains healthy, does not get sick, and remains active.
We meditate for a while at the end of the yoga. In this, breathing exercises, Kapalbhati, Anulom-Vilom, and Pranayama are done. This gives mental peace to the person doing yoga. Yoga was slowly spreading inside Delhi, but one day the LG banned yoga classes. We are sure that yoga classes will start again in Delhi someday.
No one can stop good things. Until the LG stopped yoga classes in Delhi, till then the almighty made our government in Punjab and we started doing yoga in Punjab. The one who stops working is greater. They are stopping the work of the people and we are working for the people. I hope that doing yoga will greatly benefit the people of Punjab.

In the coming days, 3-4 thousand mohalla clinics will be opened in Punjab and all treatment will be free – Arvind Kejriwal
CM Arvind Kejriwal said that many works are going on in the health sector in Punjab. 504 Mohalla clinics have become operational in different areas of Punjab. This is only the beginning. Three to four thousand Mohalla clinics will be opened in the coming days.
There will be a mohalla clinic in every pind and street and all treatment will be free. But we want that no one needs to go to Mohalla Clinic. Why should we be sick? Mohalla clinics will go only when they are sick. If we do yoga every day, we will not get sick and if we do not get sick then there will be no need to go to Mohalla Clinic. We will try to make everyone healthy and happy. But illness can come at any time. Now there is an honest AAP government in Punjab. Apart from opening mohalla clinics, the government is also doing good to government hospitals, where all treatment will be free for all.
