Barahat (Bihar): The Jharkhand government ran bulldozer over a disputed shelter of Bihar's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Lalan Kumar. The shelter was attached to the house of the BJP MLA situated at Bihar-Jharkhand border.

The shelter home was demolished on Wednesday (June 22) as the property of the BJP MLA was blocking the road for the people having homes nearby. These people had urged the Jharkhand government nearly an year ago.

After which, the Ranchi High Court ordered demolition of the disputed property causing inconvenience to the people.

The BJP MLA had made comments on the incident yet, meanwhile, his younger brother Alok Paswan accused the Mehrma CO. He made allegations saying that no prior notice was sent regarding the demolition.

Meanwhile, Sunil Kumar, the CO, dismissed the allegations saying the whole process was legal. The CO informed that the whole process was carried legally and the notice was sent as well.
