Chennai: The smoke was noticed in the Chennai-Delhi Rajdhani Express near the wheels in the B-5 compartment, which led to panic among passengers. The smoke came into view when the train reached Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore district on Sunday.

The news was shared by IANS’ Twitter official account with the caption, “Smoke in Chennai-Delhi Rajdhani Express triggered panic among passengers in Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore district. Railway officials said the smoke was because of a brake jam. No one was injured in the incident. The train resumed its journey after the repair.”

The train was delayed for 20 minutes near Kavali Railway Station. Railway officials say the smoke was caused by a brake blockage. No one was hurt in the incident.
After the repair, the train resumed its voyage.
