Patna: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Monday urged the teachers’ job aspirants to be ‘patient’ asserting that the state government will keep its promises to provide jobs.
The candidates of Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (BTET) and Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) thronged to the road in Patna in order to pressurise the concerned authorities to release an official notification.
While telling their plight, the protestors asserted that they are unemployed even after qualifying the teachers eligibility tests.
The protestors claimed that in 2021, they were promised by the concerned authorities that the notification will be released in January which did not happen.
Following which, they held several protests in the month of May when they were again ensured that their demands will be fulfill by the end of July.
As the notification was not released in July also, the teacher’s union assembled on the road again saying that this time they will not move until their demands are fulfilled.
The teachers’ union claimed that the government comes up with new excuses every time when it has to delay the notification.
