New Delhi: A teacher of a private coaching institute was stripped naked and beaten by a group of people for allegedly sexually abusing a minor student studying at the institute in Madhya Pradesh’ Indore, police said on Wednesday.

According to the police officials, the incident took place on Wednesday morning under Tukoganj police station and later the team handed over the accused teacher to the police.

Jitendra Yadav, in-charge of Tukoganj police station who is looking into the matter closely informed that one of the accused called the minor to a cafe where he allegedly molested the minor student.

“A minor girl, who was preparing for NEET, was studying at the coaching institute. One of the institute’s professors, identified as Vivek, called her to the cafe and touched her inappropriately,” said the police official.

Threatened By Another Teacher

Not just that but it was also revealed that another teacher at the institute threatened the minor student against exposing them in fornt of everyone. After noting the charges, the police has launched an investigation in the matter, while the case already attracted POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses) Act among other charges.

The official added, “While another teacher Shailendra also threatened the minor. He said that following the victim’s complaint, a case has been filed against the teachers charged under Section 354 of the IPC and the POCSO Act.”

Action Against The Mob

Keeping law and order in mind, the police has started an investigation against those as well who stripped Shailendra naked and thrashed him for allegedly molesting the minor student.

“Besides, we are also taking action against those who took accused Shailendra to the police station after stripping and beating him,” Yadav added.
