Guna: A 16-year-old Dalit girl who was allegedly kidnapped from her village was found dead in a field of Guna district in Madhya Pradesh. The dead body was found under mysterious circumstances.

The dead body has been sent to Gwalior for the post mortem to find out the cause of death.

On October 19, the girl was allegedly abducted while returning home from school. Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered by the grandfather of the victim against an unidentified person.

“The girl’s body was found in a decomposed state in a field near her village. Her school bag and cycle that she rode to school were also recovered from the spot,” said additional superintendent of police (ASP) Kamlesh Kumar Kharpuse, reported the news agency PTI.

Following the incident, victim’s family members and locals thronged at the busy road to protest demanding justice for the girl.

Was She Raped?

Seeing the girl in pathetic situation, the bereaved family is alleging that the girl was raped and murdered. Meanwhile, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief of Guna district Dilip Boudh has alleged the same.

The BSF chief along with several supporters met the victim’s family and demanded to file a case of murder and rape.
