Viral video: A video has surfaced on internet where a man was compelled to jump off a multi-storey commercial building after a fire broke out and the flames were appraoching him. The incident took place in Bengaluru’s posh Koramangala locality.
As seen in the video, a huge explosion occured in the builfing with thick black smoke fuming out. The man in the video appears to be alone on the roof. He started preparing to jump off the building as there was no alternative to escape. That is when he grabbed everyone’s attention and people who were witnessing the incident grabbed their cameras to record the incident.
Dangerous and risky it may appear but the man jumped off the building to save himself from the grip of fire. Police officials informed that he and another person suffered critical injuries. They were later admitted to a private hospital, news agency PTI reported.
As per the police, the fire reportedly broke out in a cafe located at the top floor of the multi-storey building in the noon. The incident took place reportedly due to explosion of cooking gas cylinder. Many cooking gas cylinders were kept on the top floor. A chaos broke out soon after the residents started reporting hearing a series of explosions.
