Tragic Family Drama: Bengaluru Brothers Assaulted By Friends Of Their Wives, Resulting In Death

In a recent incident, two husbands were assaulted by their wives' male friends following a provocation, resulting in one fatality. The altercation reportedly stemmed from an argument that escalated into violence.

A 33-year-old man died and his brother was injured after they were assaulted by their wives’ alleged lover in Bengaluru, Byadarahalli, on Saturday.

The suspects have been identified as S Kartik, 27, and G Chetan, 33, residents of Andhrahalli. They both are drivers by profession.

Illicit relationship suspicion  

Police said that the injured Avinash was suspecting that his wife was in an illicit relationship with Kartik. When he observed that Kartik and his wife were having a phone conversation, a fight broke out between them. Following the Avinash and brother, who married two sisters, separated.

Confronted his wife’s lover

Worried over the separation, when Abhishek and Avinash approached Kartik, a fight broke out between them in the presence of their wives. In the complaint, Avinash alleged that their wives provoked Kartik and his friend Chetan to assault us.

Both Suspects Arrested

“Duo brothers were assaulted badly and were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Abhishek succumbed to his injuries. A case was registered at a police station in Bengaluru, and two suspects were arrested,” said police, adding that notices were also issued to women, who provoked the fight.
