Karnataka: A shocking event unfolded in Mysuru on Monday morning after a family of four members – a man, his wife, mother, and son were found dead in an apartment. The deceased, identified as Chetan (45), Priyamvada (Mother, 62), Kushal (Son, 15), and Rupali (Wife, 43) reportedly ended their life. According to the police, Chetan poisoned his family before hanging himself. The exact reason for the tragic deaths is yet to be confirmed. The incident occurred Monday in Visvesvaraya Nagar in Mysuru, police said.
Reports revealed that Chetan talked to his brother residing in the US on the phone around 4 am before ending his life. “We are going to commit suicide,” he told him before hanging up. His brother Bharat quickly notified Chetan’s in-laws, urging them to rush to his home. However, by the time his mother-in-law arrived, they were dead. Senior police officials arrived at the spot and a case was later filed at the Vidyaranyapuram police station. Meanwhile, an investigation has been launched into the matter.
Hyderabad: 22-Year-Old Man Dies By Suicide
In another tragic turn of events that took place recently, a 22-year-old man allegedly died by suicide at his residence in Kalandernagar, Hyderabad. The distressing incident unfolded after his girlfriend’s parents allegedly harassed him and the police summoned him for questioning. According to the police, the girl’s father went to the victim, Mohammad Imran’s house after he found out about his affair. On the same day, his girlfriend filed a police complaint alleging that Imran was harassing her, reports added.
Following the police summons in the case, Imran returned home and committed suicide. He left behind a suicide note in which he held her father responsible for his death while urging the police to take action against her family.
