Her father, Kagodu Thimmappa expressed his disappointment over Rajnandani’s decision to join BJP.
“I heard this news now. I never expected that she (Dr Rajanandini) will do like this. It’s unfortunate. There must be something behind this. It could be Hartalu Halappa’s (BJP leader) tactics. I will try to speak to her. I will always stand in favour of Congress, I will work for the Congress party'” said Kagodu Thimmappa.
The Congress has released its candidate lists for the upcoming Assembly election, Rajnandani expected to get a ticket but Congress did not give her a ticket, so she decided to join BJP.
