Cricket fans heading to the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in central Bengaluru on Thursday for the IPL match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) may face heavy traffic and delays.

The 42nd IPL 2025 match will be played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR). After their first encounter, both teams will once again face each other at RCB’s home ground.

Key Roads to Be Affected

Although the traffic police have not issued a specific advisory yet, a rise in vehicles and crowds is expected around the stadium and the Central Business District (CBD). Roads likely to be affected include Queen’s Road, MG Road, Raj Bhavan Road, Central Street, Cubbon Road, St Marks Road, Museum Road, Kasturba Road, Ambedkar Veedhi, Trinity Junction, Lavelle Road, Vittal Mallya Road, and Nrupatunga Road.

Public Transport to See High Demand

Metro services, BMTC buses, and local trains are expected to experience high ridership, especially from Cubbon Park Metro Station after the match. Commuters may also notice parking restrictions around the stadium.

RCB vs RR

RCB and RR have faced each other in 33 matches in IPL. In which, RCB have won 16 whereas RR have come out victorious on 14 occasion. 3 matches ended without a result.
