Mangaluru: A shocking incident has come forth where a man abused and thrown his one and a half year old baby on the ground in the police station in Karnataka’s Mangaluru.
A woman on Sunday reached the police station at 2:10 AM complaining that her husband allegedly assaulted her after a heated argument between the two. She alleged that the man advanced towards her, which made her run away from there to approach the police for help.
The woman alleged that the man threatened to harm their children, even suggesting to them on fire. While sheran away from the house, the kids were at home with their father only. Prompting to the complaint, the police immidiately called the Emergency Response Support System “ERSS”.
After which, the police officers on duty quickly arrived at the scene and brought accused Mahesh along with his two children, a six-year-old boy and a one-and-a-half year old girl, to the scene. Mahesh informed the police that his wife allegedly assaulted him.
As the police advised him to file a complaint, he threatened to spare no one. A disturbing incident followed in the police station then as he forcibly dragged the children out of the police station. During this chaotic incident, PSI Prathiba, who was carrying out night patrols, was called to the police station.
When the accused’s wife entered the verandah of the police station, Mahesh started shouting and threatening his daughter in a menacing manner. He abused the child, even throwing the kid to the ground, causing injuries to his neck and head and eliciting screams of distress.
A case has been registered against Mahesh for his alleged actions and the probe is going on.
