Bengaluru Weather Update: Bengaluru Residents on Monday, April 14, 2025, woke up to a partly cloudy sky with one or two fresh spells of rain or thunderstorms. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a likelihood of rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds across Karnataka during the next five days.
Five-Day Weather Forecast For Bengaluru
IMD has shared a five-day weather forecast for Bengaluru, highlighting the likelihood of cloudy skies accompanied by light showers. On 15th, 16th, and 17th April, the weather body has predicted generally cloudy sky with light rain in the city. Additionally, the maximum temperatures are expected to reach 33 degrees Celsius during these days. Thereafter, on 18th and 19th April, there is a possibility of rain and partly cloudy sky, respectively.

Yellow Alert To Be In Effect On Tuesday
IMD has issued a yellow alert for Tuesday for 15 districts in the state. More widespread rain is expected across most of South Interior Karnataka, while light showers are likely throughout the week in many districts in coastal and North Interior Karnataka. On the other hand, places like Kalaburagi, Yadgir, and Bidar will witness dry weather.
IMD Issued Yellow Alert For 18 Districts On Monday
With the approaching summer, the city is bracing for unpredictable weather and occasional showers. At the same time, the Met Department issued a yellow alert across 18 districts on Monday. The affected districts include Davangere, Shivamogga, Chitradurga, Raichur, Mandya, Chamarajanagar, Ramanagar, Bengaluru Urban, Koppal, Gadag, Dharwad, Haveri, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Kodagu, Mysuru, Tumakuru and Kolar. Meanwhile, residents can anticipate rain until the end of the week due to an upper air cyclonic circulation. On the other hand, rainfall occurred at isolated places over Interior Karnataka, while dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka.
