Bengaluru: Living in metro cities is a dream for many, but it comes with a hefty price tag. A viral video from Bengaluru has just proven it true. Bengaluru man’s tour of a tiny 1BHK flat has both shocked and amused the netizens. It has sparked discussion on constricted living areas and sky-high rent prices in the city.
What’s In The Video?
In the video, the man can be seen taking the viewers through his friend’s tiny ‘1 balcony room’ flat, as he can be heard saying. He has even demonstrated to help the viewers figure out the size of the room. The man is seen stretching out both arms as wide as he can to indicate the shrunk living space. He then stretches his foot to one wall and his hand to the other to show the length of the room.
He further listed the benefits of having that particular space. He said that one cannot buy more items like a table and chair, as there is no space to keep them; this will save money.
The man listed the second benefit which is that one won’t make girlfriend. He added, “You won’t make girlfriend as there is no space for two to sleep. If the girl sleeps then the boy has to stand, if the boy sleeps then the girl will have to stand. This will bring humiliation, so the person will not make girlfriend.”
He mentioned that the flat costs Rs 25,000 per month. He ends the video by asking viewers for their take on the price and the room.
