The Bengaluru Traffic Police on Friday (December 20, 2024) launched a redesigned website with a modern interface, improved navigation, and advanced features. The revamped platform https://btp.karnataka.gov.in/ aims to make traffic-related services more seamless and efficient for the people.
According to PTI, this new website, developed by the Centre for e-Governance, Govt of Karnataka, offers real-time updates and smarter features. It allows users to access key tools and information with just one click, reports added.
As per officials, this move marks a significant step towards enhancing digital engagement and encouraging safe driving practices. The revamped website is organized into three main sections:
- Traffic Management
- Enforcement
- Road Safety

Under the above-mentioned relevant section, different options available are goals & objectives, team, rules & regulation, systems, initiatives, statistics, components, etc. You can also pay your traffic challan online.
“Users can report traffic violations, register complaints & suggestions, and pay or dispute traffic challans by navigating these sections. With enhanced data analytics, we can offer a Traffic Situation Map that provides real-time updates on traffic congestion, road closures, and diversions,” M N Anucheth, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Bengaluru, told PTI.
The public can access route suggestions and live traffic data through the ‘Navigate Bengaluru’ section, he added. “Additionally, there is a separate section with timely traffic alerts & news,” Anucheth said.
