It came to light that Srikant, who is married, used to live as a tenant with the woman. When he continued his harassment, the woman finally informed his wife. Following the harassment, the woman filed the complaint with police, but without taking any strict action, he was released after a warning.

In a separate case, a woman allegedly faced sexual harassment by an unknown person in the BTM Layout area of Bengaluru when she walked on Thursday. The accused fled shortly following the event. CCTV footage from the scene shows the man approaching two women strolling along a narrow, empty path lined with parked two-wheelers. As seen in the video, the man approached from behind and allegedly touched one of the women before fleeing. Following the abrupt assault, the women continued walking away from the location.

One of the women walking with her companion experienced suspect contact during the attack with the perpetrator, who approached from their rear and then fled quickly from the scene. The targeted women kept walking from this precise area after their unexpected attack.

Police officials found that the victim had not submitted a formal complaint. The officials indicated that they would initiate action and file a case against an unknown accused unless the victim reported their assault.
