Bengaluru: A shocking incident emerged from Bengaluru where a 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two including a police constable. According to report, the minor was raped under the pretense of receiving help. Based on the victim’s complaint, Bommanahalli police have arrested both the accused. The cop, identified as Arun, was a constable at Bommanahalli police station, while another accused Vicky was her friend.
Accused Lures Victim By Promising Marriage
Reports revealed that the girl was friends with her neighbor Vicky, who was already married. He lured her by promising to marry her, but allegedly raped her instead. She later became acquainted with the accused cop at the police station who assured her of justice. Meanwhile, he also promised to help her find a new job. However, in December last year, he lured her to a Bengaluru Hotel where he spiked her liquor and then allegedly raped her.
Police Arrest Both The Accused
The victim who confided in her mother also complained that she was threatened by the cop. He threatened to leak her private videos on social media, reports added. A case under different sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered at the police station.
