Bengaluru: A conflict between two lawyer brothers ended in Tragedy after the younger one allegedly stabbed his elder sibling to death in Bengaluru. The incident reportedly occurred on Friday around 11.30 am following a heated dispute on ancestral property. The accused, identified as Nagendra (30), visited his 35-year-old brother’s residence in Bommanahalli. According to police, a long-standing family feud over the inheritance of their father’s property is what turned deadly.
Their Father, had converted an agricultural land into a residential area, constructing more than 65 houses several decades ago, police stated. After he passed away two years ago, the two advocate siblings have locked horns over the property share. The shocking event unfolded when Nagendra arrived at his elder brother’s house and, in a fit of rage, stabbed him in his chest multiple times with a knife.
Reports revealed that the two had engaged in a heated argument over property before the tragedy. The victim was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries later, around 1.30 pm. Police have arrested the accused, reports added. The officials informed that the deceased was married and was a father to a 5-year-old son.
In yet another similar incident, a 52-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her husband’s elder brother last Sunday in Haryana’s Jhajjar city. Police suspect that the murder took place over a property dispute. As per reports, a case has been filed against the accused, identified as Rajbir, following a police complaint by the woman’s daughter. Sources said that Rajbir consumed a poisonous substance later after the incident and was taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
