However, a video has emerged from India’s IT hub, Bengaluru, that shows a woman was working on a laptop while driving her Maruti Suzuki Baleno at a high speed in traffic.
The video was recorded by another car driver, and later it was uploaded on social media platforms. As the video was uploaded, it caught the attention of social media users, and they tagged Bengaluru police to take action against the woman, as her act is dangerous for road users and violates the MV Act as well.
Taking Suo motu cognisance of the viral video, the Bengaluru police identified the vehicle driver with the help of the registration number of the vehicle and issued a hefty fine.
DCP (traffic), North, Bengaluru, posted a video in which she was violating traffic rules. While in another photo, police officers were seen handing over a challan to a woman.
The DCP also mentioned, “Work from home, not from a car while driving.” Social media user demands the cancellation of driver’s license. While another said all these stunts are for creating reels. In the last 24 hours, the video has more than 92k views.
