Suchana Seth ‘Kicks’ Goa Cop
Her ‘fight’ with the lady police constable began after Seth “took the inward register of ladies prisoner block without permission.” The incident took place around 11:30 pm on Monday. According to the FIR, when she was questioned about her action, Seth abused the cop. She used “filthy words” and pushed her further. She is accused of assaulting the lady cop by kicking her and pulling her hair. According to the police, lady constable has suffered injuries due to Seth’s attack.
Accused In Son’s Murder Case
Seth has been in prison since January last year. She was arrested from Karnataka’s Chitradurga. Her four-year-old dead son was found stuffed in a suitcase that she was carrying with her in the taxi she hired from the hotel. The tragic events unfolded at a service apartment in Candolim, North Goa, between January 6 and 8, 2024. Seth had checked in with her son but left for Bengaluru on January 8, leaving behind suspicions due to bloodstains found in the room and her unusual baggage. Staff alerted the police, leading to the harrowing discovery of the child’s body in her bag in Chitradurga.
39-year-old Suchana Seth had devised a horrifying plan to dispose of her son’s body. However, her intentions were thwarted, and she was apprehended by the police. According to the police, when Suchana was traveling from Goa to Bengaluru, she encountered a four-hour traffic jam on the way, causing her delay.
During this time, the police contacted the cab driver, instructing him to stop Suchana’s car near a police station without informing her and provide information. Suchana was unaware of the cab driver’s destination. As soon as the car stopped near the station, her senses returned. Before she could take any action, the Karnataka police detained her. Upon searching her bag, her son’s lifeless body was discovered.
Following her arrest in Chitradurga and subsequent custody, Seth faced legal procedures in Goa. The Goa Police filed 640-page chargesheet in the case, which includes statements from 59 witnesses.
