Bengaluru, known for its unpredictable weather, witnessed heavy rainfall that left several city roads waterlogged, leading to slow-moving traffic in various areas on Monday evening. In response to the traffic snarls, Bengaluru Traffic Police issued an advisory, listing the affected roads and requesting commuters to cooperate.
Here’s the Traffic Advisory Due to Waterlogging in Bengaluru:
1. Kasturinagar on ORR road – Vehicle movement is sluggish due to waterlogging.
2. MMT Junction towards KR Puram Railway station – Slow-moving traffic due to waterlogging.
3. Vidya Shilpa underpass service road – Traffic diversion at Kogilu junction due to waterlogging.
4. Kalyananagara 80 feet road (near Kalyan Nagar under bridge) – Slow-moving traffic due to waterlogging.
5. Veeranyapalya Down Ramp road – Water on the road in Hennur traffic police station limits, leading to slow traffic towards KR Pura.
6. Kalyananagara 80 feet road (near Kalyan Nagar under bridge) – Waterlogging causing slow-moving traffic.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers until November 8. On November 9, when a cricket World Cup match between New Zealand and Sri Lanka is scheduled in the city, the weather department has forecast light rain. It’s worth noting that heavy rainfall on a Saturday evening disrupted the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup match between Pakistan and New Zealand at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
