‘Lover Might Have Murdered Her’, Claims Bengaluru Woman’s Husband
“I think it is Ashraf. I had filed a complaint against him at the Nelamangala police station earlier. They had instructed him not to come to Bengaluru after the complaint. But I do not know where else he went,” Das said.
He and Mahalakshmi were married six years ago. They have a daughter, but nine months ago, they started living apart due to domestic disputes.
“Ashraf is from Uttarakhand. We have lodged a complaint as I came to know of the affair. It was no more of a guess; I knew about it. Ashraf works in a barber shop. I came to know of the affair in April or May 2023. Mahalakshmi had never spoken to me about Ashraf and I was not in touch with her regularly,” Das said.
Das, who is working in a mobile phone shop, said he had met Mahalakshmi about 25–30 days ago as she was going to that shop to meet him.
