New Delhi: Bengaluru police have arrested a man who allegedly beat his girlfriend to death with a pressure cooker on suspicion of her being unfaithful to him. The incident took place at the Mico network in Karnataka’s Begur.
Deva, 24, from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, has been living with Vaishnav, from Kollam in Kerala, in a rented apartment for two years. The man was skeptical that his girlfriend was cheating on him that angered him to take the extreme step.
According to police, the two went to college together and worked in sales and marketing. Neighbors told police that they often quarreled but police said the two had never brought charges against each other in the past.
The accused ran away after the incident but the police managed to catch Vaishnav and took him into the custody. A murder case has been filed while an investigation has been launched to investigate the matter through all possible aspects.
