Uttar Pradesh: Maryada Purushottam Shriram International Airport is going to be ready soon in the Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh. According to the reports, the work at this airport is in the final stage. The runways are 90 per cent ready, while the airport building is 75 per cent complete.
According to the information, the Uttar Pradesh government had said in January this year that the work at Ayodhya Airport would be completed by June 2023. On the other hand, the construction of the Shri Ram temple is also going on at a fast pace. The work of the sanctum sanctorum is in its final stage. Recently, the cabinet minister of Uttar Pradesh also announced the date for the consecration of Ramlala.
Uttar Pradesh and the Airports Authority of India are developing the existing airstrip in Ayodhya, UP, as an international airport. This airstrip is about eight kilometres from the Shriram temple site. This airport has also been named Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport. This airport is being built in Ayodhya along the Gorakhpur-Lucknow National Highway.
