New Delhi: Ankita Bhandari will be cremated today. The body of 19-year-old Ankita, a resident of Pauri Garhwal, was recovered from a barrage. She was working as a receptionist at Vanantra Resort in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. She went missing under suspicious circumstances about five days ago. Her body was recovered yesterday. Three accused have also been arrested in the matter including the owner of the resort. She will be cremated today.

CM Dhami condemns the incident

Chief Minister of Uttarkand Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed grief over the incident. He also said that the harsh punishment will be given to the accused for such a heinous crime. The culprit will not be spared.

At the same time, Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar said that the whole matter is being led by the District Magistrate. The Police has arrested the accused showing seriousness in this matter.

BJP expels family members

Taking immediate action, the BJP high command has expelled the brother and father of accused Pulkit Arya from the party.
