New Delhi: A 10-year-old girl in Alwar district in Rajasthan was allegedly abducted and gangraped by two men of her village. Meanwhile, the victim’s family alleged that the police is trying to dismiss the case.
The family has lodged a complaint against the gang rape but no arrests were made. As per local media reports, the relatives of the girl said the police is engaged in suppressing the case.
On December 11, the minor went to their farm with her parents to give water to the field on the night. Meanwhile, the accused named Suba Dey and Tariq Khan kidnapped the girl to sexually assault her.
When the parents followed the scream of their daughter due to the rape, the accused ran away.
Two days later, the victim’s father filed a case against two accused Suba Day and Tariq Khan in Section 376 (D) (B), 363 and 5 (G)/6 POCSO Act on December 13.
Threatened to kill
The victim father said the accused on December 12 threatened them not to file a police complaint or they will kill the family.
DSP Jayaprakash Beniwal said that a complaint of gang rape was lodged. A case has been registered under the sections of the POCSO Act. The police is raiding other places including Haryana to arrest the accused.
