The Permanent Account Number (PAN) is used for multiple purposes, such as filing Income Tax Returns, opening a bank account, serving as an identification document, etc. However, it faces the risk of getting deactivated now if you fail to comply with the rules of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT).   • You cannot apply for bank loans
  • You cannot buy or sell house or vehicle.
  • PAN is also mandatory to conduct business and other crucial purposes.

Steps To Link Aadhar With PAN

  • Visit the official Income Tax e-filing portal
  • Search and click on the 'Link Aadhaar' tab
  • Enter your PAN and Aadhaar number
  • Click on the ‘validate’ button
  • Enter your mobile number, and an OTP will be sent
  • That's all, you have now successfully linked your PAN to your Aadhaar number.
