HDFC Bank
In Urban areas – 10,000
In Semi-urban areas – 5000
In rural areas – 2,500
All the saving account holders of HDFC bank need to maintain a minimum balance as per their branch location.

State bank Of India
SBI does not have any minimum balance criteria. SBI had removed the minimum balance requirement in the covid period.
Punjab National bank
In Urban areas – 2,000
In Semi-urban areas – 1,000
In rural areas – 500
ICICI Bank
In Urban areas – 10,000
In Semi-urban areas – 5000
In rural areas – 2,000
