YES Bank SMS balance alert service: As a Yes Bank user, you should receive alerts about your bank balance every month. Yes Bank has offered this service for a long time, but many other large banks have discontinued it. Whereas the private sector lender has chosen to cease the balance alert facility through SMS on December 1, 2022.

In an important announcement about the programme, private sector lender Yes Bank declared that it would discontinue offering the subscription-based SMS balance alert option on December 1, 2022.

According to YES BANK, it has enhanced its SMS alert service, allowing you to get all regulatory alerts. In addition to these mandatory alerts, YES BANK provides a subscription-based SMS alert service via which customers can receive extra alerts. These extra alerts include Debit / Credit alerts even for transactions without a threshold, Salary Credit alerts, and account balance alerts at various intervals such as Daily/Bi-Weekly/Weekly/Fortnightly, and so on.

YES Bank informed in a message “We regret to notify you that the balance alert service through SMS will be discontinued on December 1, 2022. If you have subscribed to the SMS Alert package and have been receiving balance alerts through SMS as part of this subscription, you will no longer receive them. You will continue to get all other SMS alerts based on your current subscriptions ”
