Sukhpal Singh is the founder and non-executive chairman of Dominus, a family-owned business. The company focuses on real estate and private equity investments. According to his LinkedIn profile, Sukhpal Singh founded Dominus in 2011. The company operates across multiple sectors, including hospitality, residential and commercial property, aviation, private equity, and wealth management. Dominus manages assets worth over £1 billion and owns or is developing more than a dozen hotels. The total development value of its projects exceeds £1.5 billion.
Before starting Dominus, Sukhpal Singh founded Euro Car Parts, which grew to become one of Europe’s largest distributors of car and light commercial vehicle parts. He launched the business in 1978, shortly after arriving in the UK at the age of 18. From a single motor accessories shop, he expanded Euro Car Parts into more than 300 stores with over 12,000 employees. In 2011, he sold the company to Nasdaq-listed LKQ Corporation but continued as Executive Chairman for its UK and Ireland operations until 2018.
